| It's been less than two months this time. Go me!
As I was rereading my past entry, I realized how stupid I am. How could I not know that that quote was from Gandhi? Geez...anyways, I would just like to say that I am extremely exhausted, both physically and mentally. My word of advice for everyone out there: don't EVER take session a AND c...you'll be in school for 2 years straight...literally. I cannot wait til summer school is over and I get to be free for two weeks. Actually, I won't even be free now that I think about it. As soon as school is over, it's UKS mode. *sigh* woe is me. Don't get me wrong though, I love my position and I love my fellow staffers, but gosh darnit, a girl just needs a little R&R sometimes. No hard feelings though =]
Aish...my boss is really starting to annoy me. She's doing field work somewhere up north and she told me that it wouldn't be longer than a week. It's been three weeks, three FREAKIN weeks of no hours for me. Three FREAKIN weeks of me without any money. I think I'm going to quit soon and find another job that actually allows me to work and earn money. Actually, this probably works out for the better. Now I have no reason to not apply for the internship at APHCV. Given it is not paid, but I need the internship experience for grad school.
Speaking of grad school...I've been researching a few programs here and there. It's coming down to the wires...eeek, I'm going to have to start GRE prep classes soon. First things first, I need to get my GPA to where I want it to be. Then I need to start applying for internships. Then take my GREs. and THEN, apply to grad schools......OH MY GOD I'm almost done with undergrad....shiiz!

| It's been six months since I've last blogged. From reading all my old entries, I've just noticed how much I've changed. That's not necessarily a good thing...but that's not necessarily a bad thing either. The reason why I'm blogging is because I totally had an epiphany today when I was talking to Cyn in BCaf. We were just talking about how our taste in boys have changed soooo much just within this year alone. I know that sounds pretty stupid, but there's a point to this story haah....I realized like, how much I've grown as a person this past year. Joining UKS, APC, and APhiO were probably the best decisions I've made at UCLA. The people I've met, the things I've been a part of...I can safely say for once in my life, that I'm proud of myself. There's actually other stuff I care about in this world besides all that superficial shit I used to care about. I'm actually really sad that the year's coming to a close. This is my last week of school, and then finals. I'm gonna miss the seniors soooo muchhhhh! =[ What am I gonna do without my Drangi Papa? lol...but anyways, I just wanted to say that these orgs that I was a part of this year totally opened up my eyes to these pertinent issues affecting my community, affecting my people, affecting my life. I forgot who I heard this quote from, but it's probably one of my favorite ones, "Be the change you want to see in this world," or something along those lines. That's pretty much become my motto for life. Don't get me wrong, I know I can't save the world or anything, but....it doesn't hurt to try. =]

| wahhh i havent written in here in forever!! lol...i thought i was giving up xanga but i keep coming back haha...i love the fact that i could write shit in here and no one would ever read it besides dalis and maybe thany haha...anywho, first quarter of my second year @ ucla is officially over...hmm academically, it went pretty good...socially...well it had its ups and downs...we'll just leave it at that...lol anyways gahhhh i havent shopped for anyone yet! err i dunno what to do lol...
oh dalis i just read one of your blogs....*HI FIVE* uggh! i think stephanie is annoying too!!! she can't even dance...honestly, she just have a seizure thats not even real dancing..just know how to shake her ass, whats so special...and i hate her voice lol..that one xman where its her vs. the guy from SS501 and she sang that mariah carey song ugh..yeah..and she not cute lol...and no im not a hater...i think the rest of the grace or whatever her group is called is fine....i just get that bad vibe from her though..haha
omg leah isnt on star golden bell anymore! hahhaha....they replaced her with EVA from sujufullhouse!!!! lol funny cuz i was just watching fullhouse haha...
kk....i need to go do something more productive...haha

| well.....school has officially started and i gotta say....it has been the most interesting year already...crushes...new boyfriends...parties...crazy friends...drama...hospitals...drunkeness....all within the first week of school....goddamnnn ahha...and oh not all these things are about me, so dont go getting any ideas lol... phew...i have like 200 pages to read for my history class so otherwise, i would have given you a real update lol....as of now...i gotta do work...but dont worry dalis and thany i will give you full details in due time. =] | | |
